Spring is taking it's time getting here. I was positive it had arrived mid-March, but that was, of course, wishful thinking. By the first of April, I was convinced spring, and possibly summer, had arrived. But even though I gleefully set out the tomato and peppers plants I'd purchased mid-March, there were still a few nights below freezing when darling husband brought them inside- without complaint. The peppers are his. :)
But the flowers are fine and promise to be beautiful in a few weeks, the tomatoes are getting bigger (thanks to careful coddling!) and the pepper plants have lovely white flowers about to become baby peppers. Now, if I can just keep the squirrels from digging around the tomato plants, everything will be fine.. It is time for the dogs to earn their keep!
