So many of you have told me you enjoy animals in the story. That is great since all of my books have animals in them.
Sorcha the Scottish Deerhound, in The Highlander's Accidental Bride, helps put a homesick Mary at ease and champions her more than once.
In The Highlander's Accidental Bride, Ranald brings two Deerhounds to his new home, and they protect wee Gilda and provide a bit of comic relief with their boundless energy and good natures.
Things change in the next book. In The Highlander's Tempestuous Bride, Gilda (now grown up) brings home an injured wolf. Though she releases him once he has healed, he shows up more than once to show his gratitude. But he is not tame, as she finds out.
Today we meet Tam, an 8 month old Colley. He is quite the boisterous puppy, but shows the tendency toward great intelligence, fun, mischief and kindness that is typical of the Collie today.
