Once they start to gear up for round two, a bone stuffed with cheese and a biscuit or two keeps them occupied for a bit. Of course, I have to monitor 'trade offs' because Ben isn't always ready to trade when Freki says he is. Trade with Dixie? Freki wouldn't dare! They still have a love-hate relationship. Dixie hates being annoyed, and Freki loves to annoy her.
I sewed up 3 hapless stuffed toys this morning because someone was bored.
I took that same someone on a rather blustery walk because she had made 6 laps around the den, three leaps on the couch, and landed twice on my laptop, causing the paragraph I was writing to suddenly appear in Cyrillic- at least, that is what it looked like.
And DH had to retrieve the new roll of toilet paper from the depths of the toilet, which Freki had decided was her personal water fountain and toy. (Thank goodness she hasn't discovered the handle! BTW, we purchased a new refrigerator and declined the ice-dispenser on the front partly because Freki loves ice, and it would be waaay too easy for her to learn to push that little lever.)
